What is JCCWatch.org’s Goal?

JCC in Manhattan.

JCC in Manhattan.

The JCC’s board of directors would have you believe that we’re against films, speakers, and balanced programming being presented at the JCC in Manhattan. Nothing could be further from the truth. Penlandkenrechoc JCCWatch.org objects, plain and simple, to any linking to or partnering with groups that support Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) against Israel. Period. We recommend that the JCC in Manhattan establish guidelines similar to those established by the Jewish Community Federation in San Francisco, stating that it:

“does not fund organizations that, through their mission, activities or partnerships… endorse or promote anti-Semitism, other forms of bigotry, violence or other extremist views…; or advocate for, or endorse, undermining the legitimacy of Israel as a secure independent, democratic Jewish state, including through participation in the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement, in whole or in part.”
